Comparison

LittlesLink vs. Lillio (formerly HiMama)

Lillio — the platform formerly known as HiMama — is an educator-first brand with genuine curriculum and assessment depth. LittlesLink is built for centers that want to know the price and the terms before the sales call. Here is a fair, sourced look at both.

Information verified against published materials as of July 10, 2026.

Choose LittlesLink if…

  • You want pricing and subscription terms you can read before talking to sales
  • You want a flat monthly cost that doesn’t scale with enrollment
  • You need QuickBooks export, deep CACFP reimbursement reporting, and e-signatures built in
  • You want AI that drafts parent communication and automates enrollment paperwork
  • You want payments through major gateways — launching with Stripe — at public standard rates

Lillio may fit better if…

  • A documented curriculum and assessment program is your top priority
  • You rely on deep subsidy administration, especially in KinderConnect states
  • You want accredited professional development with CEUs built in

We'd rather you pick the right tool than the loudest pitch — these are honest gaps, not fine print.

Where LittlesLink wins

Pricing that exists in public

Lillio has never published core-product pricing — the only dollar figure on their site is for training courses. Every LittlesLink plan price is on our pricing page, flat, with every feature listed.

Terms you can read before you buy

Lillio’s public terms cover use of their website; the subscription agreement — cancellation, renewal, refunds — arrives during the sales process. Our terms fit in a sentence: month-to-month, 14-day free trial, no credit card to start.

Growth doesn’t raise your bill

Lillio pricing scales with the size of your program, so enrollment growth means bill growth. LittlesLink is flat: enroll ten more children and your price doesn’t move.

The money stack for real operations

QuickBooks export, deep CACFP reimbursement reporting, e-signatures, subsidy ledger, and split billing are all built in. None of the first three appear in Lillio’s published materials.

AI where staff feel it

Lillio lists no AI features as of July 2026. LittlesLink ships a drafting assistant for parent updates — always a draft a human approves — plus enrollment automation that maps your required paperwork into one parent form and a single completed package for admins.

Payment rates you can read

Lillio’s processing rates aren’t published — they "vary based on your unique business setup" and are quoted individually. LittlesLink launches with Stripe, whose standard rates are public, and supports several major gateways so you choose the processor.

Where Lillio is genuinely stronger

An honest comparison cuts both ways. Here's what they do that we don't — yet or by design.

Curriculum & assessment depth

This is Lillio’s real moat: recognized assessment tools, curriculum aligned to state frameworks, physical curriculum kits, and accredited professional development. If a documented learning program is your top priority, they’ve invested a decade there and we offer nothing comparable.

Native subsidy administration

Lillio handles agency payments, lump-sum splitting, and co-pay invoicing natively, with KinderConnect subsidy-attendance integration in several states. Our Pro tier’s subsidy ledger and split billing compete well — but in KinderConnect states their integration is a genuine advantage.

A mature, widely-used parent app

Lillio’s unified mobile app has years of iteration behind it and a large install base. LittlesLink’s iOS and Android apps launch with the platform in January 2027 — newer, with less mileage on them.

Thinking about switching?

Bulk import is built in, Pro includes assisted migration, and our white-glove Advanced Migration service can move your enrollment, family, and attendance data for you. LittlesLink launches January 1, 2027 — join the list and plan your switch.
